Are you new to working remotely? Are you struggling with getting leads? Say no more! We have some tips on how you can easily adapt marketing remotely, especially now that almost all people are working from home because of the novel coronavirus

Remote Marketing Strategy

Social Media Content

You can definitely leverage the use of Social Media in these times. Consistent posting about your business can let people get an idea of what you have to offer. From time to time, business posts can get pretty boring so you may try to post some positive quotes in the morning, tips and tricks and how to’s, and random things to entertain your audience to keep them interested.

Also, engage frequently with your target audience. Comment, like their posts and even send messages to check on them from time to time. Show interest in what they do. If you create a relationship in a friendly and professional way with your target audience, sooner or later they will want to utilize your services.

Get your camera ready!

This is the time to share and express yourself on what’s going on. Take a video of yourself and just be honest. Be creative, be formal but not too formal, and be engaging!

For videos, you can make use of Instagram TV (IGTV). Just make sure you record at least 1:30 minutes long so you can post it as an IGTV video. When you share your post, you can choose to post a preview of it which lasts 60 seconds to your feed, so people can see it. You can also create an IGTV cover so it stands out when people browse through your videos. This can be easily created on platforms like Canva, they make it super simple and easy with pre-sized templated – cool, right?

Facebook and Instagram Ads

Running ads on Facebook is a lot easier too and it’s pretty self-explanatory. You can set up who your target audience is and the demographic you’d like to reach out to; like their age, gender, location, etc. You also have the option to further segment it to people that might be following certain pages or that have engaged with other adverts etc. You then simply set up the exact location that you want your advert to appear. The more specific and precise that you are in creating your target demographic, the more likely you are to get leads! And the best part is that it’s affordable and allows you to control what you pay!

Email Campaigns

If you have a list of names, email addresses, and phone numbers, you can set up an account in email campaign platforms like Mailchimp and Liondesk. Here, you can draft and finalize emails that you want to blast out your selected recipients. You can choose when to send it, and set the timeline between the different emails. You can set these emails up and running so you won’t have to worry about getting leads, you just have to wait who replies. When you gather contact information it’s definitely worth running email campaigns until you get the number of leads you’re looking for.

In Liondesk, you can also create task reminders if you want to send a text message, call someone, or email someone on a particular date. Just open the contact, and set the task reminder to the date and time you want to be reminded. Task reminders go directly to your email, so you don’t have to remember a thing!

There are a lot more ways in which you can get credible leads – even at home – so, get up and get going!!
